I've been offered a sort of package deal put together by the manager of a local music store. It would bean Ibanez GSA-60 , with Ibanez TB25R amp (10 inch speaker, 25 watts), a strap, a tuner (not sure what kind), a cable, a gig bag, and a tubular stand. He says he will sell it all to me for $388. I've checked at musician's friend, and this seems like a good deal for the price. What I want to know, is if I would be getting a good guitar and amp for my money's worth. It would be my first guitar to actually buy (i've been playing for a few months though). I've been going down to the store and playing it and I don't notice anything wrong with it, seems like a good guitar to me. Anyone else had an Ibanez guitar or amp like this?

I started with an inexpensive Ibanez guitar. I liked mine. I have no experience with their amps, and the amp can be more important than the guitar when sound quality is concerned. if you like the amp's sound and think it's a good deal, then go for it. otherwise, you might want to go for the guitar and spend the rest on a better amp.
