Help needed on Jackson guitar serial no.

Tagged As: Jackson Guitar Serial Numbers

Question:
I've got a Jackson (1995-97), custom made, with Dinky style of body with two humbuckers, 24 fret dot inlay oiled maple bolt-on neck, something that looks like floyd rose. The serial number is 02443. It is stamped on the head of the neck(?). There is no single trace of the Jackson metal plate that is usual for Jackson guitars. The question - is it possible that this guitar was manufactured by Jackson? This guitar is playing like a dream and I never had any problems with it. It sounds quite good too...it can be compared with Ibanez or some of the Gibsons in terms of sound and sustain.

Answer:
Go to Jackson's website and do a serial number search. Should answer your question.

I got myself a Jackson strat at a pawn shop a while back. I don't really play that often and one of my co-workers is pushing me to sell it to him. He had mentioned that it could be worth more than i might think. If anyone knows where i could run the serial no. and find out year and manufacturing location that would be cool. Just shoot me an E-MAIL. or look up the no. and send me the link...... serial # 02020071 thanks. I would appreciate any e-mail because i don't quite know how i found this site, just title the mail........"ABOUT YOUR JACKSON"
