I want to take a jazz guitar lesson. Please recommend me an instructor

Well, I don't know if one lesson will do you much good, but if you want to take many, I can recommend Michael Kovitz at 836-1202 and mekov...@msn.com . I've been taking from him for a month or so after playing guitar for sixteen years, and really like his methods. Unfortunately, this means learning how to crawl on the guitar again by practicing such things as picking technique, sight reading and rhythm. I'm not a jazz guy, but Michael certainly is. I think the technical discipline I'm undertaking right now will serve me well, even though I have no desire to play jazz guitar.
