List price on a 2001 model 810CE is $3268 US. You should be able to get one for about 35% off list (perhaps more if you look hard), so figure somewhere around $2100 US. I don't know exactly what it costs but it can't be too much more than Dfl 3700 over here. The best place in eastern Massachusetts to get a Taylor is Music Emporium in Lexington, MA. This is about 30 kilometers west of Boston. The shop has a wide selection of Taylors, Martins and others, takes good care of its inventory and the people are helpful, courteous and extremely good players. While there a few weeks ago I tried a Larrivee D-09CE, with a cutaway and pickup, that was an excellent comparable/competitor for the Taylor.
