Generally speaking, which type of musician do you find the difficult to work with, guitarists, drummers, keyboardists or singers? Which do you find to be the most egotistitical? Which do you find the most obnoxious? Which do you find the most annoying? Submit your horror stories?
Answer:
Electric guitarists who use a slew of stomp-box pedal effects! I was once in a band with a lead guitarist who must have thought he was Inspector Gadget, he had a BC Rich Bich custom guitar with a million knobs and switches (well OK, 6 or 7 of each) and about a DOZEN stomp boxes. And he carried these pedals, all connected, in a piece of rolled up carpet that he had them all attached to. I shit you not. And before each practice, he would have to adjust this, fiddle with that, plug this in here, plug that in there, you get the picture? I don't think I ever saw him use the same setup twice. And he was actually a pretty good guitarist, just a little anal about his gizmos.
