Easy Acoustic Guitar

Tagged As:

Question:
I am a relatively new guitar player but can play partial songs quite easily. My problem is playing songs (chords only) because I can't seem to get the strumming down correctly to sound like anything. Are there a couple of nice easy acoustic songs that I could learn to practice this?

Answer:
I used Zombie from the cranberries to practice. It's very easy. You should *cough* acquire *cough* it if you don't know it. The chords are easy and the strum pattern sounds good whatever you do. You can see your play develop as you play it more and listen to the music more. Just buy a book on guitar that’s not too hard and practice. Only solution okay? If you got most of your chords and changes down....Find something that you like that sounds easy...cough...cough...Thanks for the laugh Tijman...burn it, sit in front of your stereo and Practice... I was told years ago...There’s 3 P's involved in learning... Practice Patience Persistence Good luck and if ya ain't having fun, put it down for awhile.... Strumming rhythm is everything. You can play the same old ADE chords with different rhythms and get different sounds. Listen carefully to some songs and duplicate their strumming patterns.
