I'm continuing my search for an amp to drive a couple audiobahn subs and was wondering if anyone knew anything aout power acoustik amps. namely the farenheit series. let me know your opinions.

Power ratings are false, not great quality. Treat your Audiobahns with more respect! Try Phoenix Gold, Hifonics, MTX, DEI, Rockford Fosgate all are good mid quality amps for just a bit more money than Power Acoustik . To be honest, no, haven't seen one in over a year anyway. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck than it's probably a duck. In other words, Pyramid will always suck, Legacy will always be 1400 watts for $79 and Alpine will continue to produce good quality at a premium price. Manufacturers find their niche and seldom stray from it, the exception to the rule being the Cobalt line LOL. Power Acoustik will continue to market to people without a lot of experience in mobile audio or to those that will settle for an adequate product. I don't have a ton of respect for manufacturers that take advantage of the consumer by over rating their products. Conversely, the consumer has a responsibity to research the product.
