Traynor Bass Amp .

Tagged As: Traynor Bass Amp

Question:
Has anyone ever heard of the Traynor brand? I just bought a Traynor YBA-1 bass master or something like that it has an interesting setup to it I was wondering if anyone has some technical comments or inputs about this amp it seems very well made

Answer:
Traynor has been around for many years. It's a Canadian company that is owned by Yorkville Sound. Hence the Y in the model number. Yorkville Bass Amplifier. They are still going strong too. You shouldn't have any problem digging up the schematic for this amplifier. Looking at some old Yorkville amp's (don't have yours) they look like copies of the Fenders anyway! YS used to be around the corner from my house but in the last few years they've moved to Pickering/Ajax, Ontario. My first guitar amplifier was a Traynor G100. It's was unbelievably loud! But, I soon discovered tube amplifiers and sold it to my friend for 250$.
