Fender 93' Bronco.....Tube amplifier?

Tagged As: Fender Bronco Amp

Question:
I have been posting my needs for a nice quality 15w/20w pratice amp(TUBE!) .... (A Fender Blues Jr, being my reference point) I was directed to check out the Fender Champs, and actually found a seemingly very cool amplifier in the Fender Vibro-Champ 's . Pretty Cool. I noticed the 15w 93' Bronco that Fender sells sounds like just what I am also looking for, so my first question for you is the Bronco a TUBE amp? They claim it cranks a 4 x 12 surprisingly....so I can only imagine it being a Valve amp (TUBE Powered). Opinions on the Fender 93' Bronco amplifier? (presently sold by fender, so they must be re-issues..)

Answer:
I this is a solid-state amp and not to be confused with the Fender Bronco from the early 70's. The old Bronco was basically a VibroChamp. As for the 4x12 thing... I run a 6watt '69 VibroChamp through a 4x12 all the time. It's tubeness has nuthin' to do with it. I can drive the same 4x12 with my signal generator.. however, like the Bronco mentioned below, it just doesn't sound very nice
