I am considering buying a KUSTOM mult zone amplifier and their IR integrated volume control/source selector for my whole house audio application. Any experience using these products? Also any experience using Xantec s-64 in wall speakers.

Answer:
The Kustom products are essentially the same as the Russound products (I think Kustom OEMs them from Russound)... Anyway, I've used several of the Russound Amplifiers, and their controls and source selectors. Overall, I think they are a great deal for the money. I've never used the Xantech speakers you mention, but there are several brands of affordable speakers that sound fairly good. I tend to like the Phoenix Gold in-wall speakers for mid-level speakers, and the Pinnacle in-walls if you have a little more budget.
