I am really just a part time fiddler with the guitar, and I was hoping that one of the good people of this group could point me towards some easy (but well known) blues guitar solos to get me started. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Answer:
I play many blues solos. You really need just one string to do it properly. On the skinniest string (I think it's an E), I use the following notes: 0-3-5-7-10-12 I think the intervals from 0-3 and from 7-10 is what gives this scale a bluesy feel. Some people have figured out how to play these notes on other strings but this gets really complicated. If you want to get fancy, try these 3 chords too: x x x x x x x x x x 2 4 2 0 2 0 x x
