Question:
Need schematics for a Peavey Bandit 112 guitar amp. I think I have a shorted output transistor but cannot locate one locally. I hope the schematic will help. Any info on acquiring the schematic will help.
Answer:
First thing I did after buying my Classic 50 was to order schematics from Peavey. No problem at all. They do charge a modest fee for postage. However, You should be able to contact the factory in Meridian, MS, and get help. I've done that before with mixers, and they helped me with information (sent me schematics, and advised me of common failings). This was after a certified Peavey repair tech was unable to solve it, however. It's worth noting that besides being better-built and better-sounding than Peavey, Fender amps come with schematics when you buy them
