I know it has a tube. But I am seeing more and more of these amps that have one single 12AX7 preamp tube saying you can get all the tone of a tube amp with the 12AX7 tube. Reason I am wondering is because Music 123 has one for 80 bucks I am considering. Its the Kuston Tube 12. Any opinions?

Guncho is a tube amp man all the way.. The single preamp tube is nothing more than an advertising ploy.. People buy them that dont know anything about tube amplifiers then say Tube amps dont sound any better trhan SS. All the while they dont realize that what they're comparing is two SS amps.
Is an amp that has a 12AX7 tube pre-amp considered an actual Tube Amp
