Does anyone know about how much an amp like this is worth?? The guy offered to sell me his. It's MINT and from 1963. He wants $800 for it. Are they cool amps? I know what they look like, but I haven't played through his yet

Well it's not from 1963 if it's a Thomas Super Beatle. If it has all the speakers still in in and the chrome stand and all 3 channels actually work and it has the footswitch it's a steal. Need to know what model number. hint. Look on the back plate of the amp head for the model number. Then check on http://www.voxshowroom.com for it's features. Then while there go to the dealers sections and the classifieds to compare prices. Hope you like really clean LOUD amps.
