Question:
Can someone recommend a classical guitar book with tab? I am looking for a book that gives different practice tips and includes tab from a variety of songs that are not too difficult to play - intermediate level!
Answer:
I definitely recommend reading through a classical guitar book with a soft drink in hand. Though I don't use Tab...I use Sprite. (the real one..none of that diet stuff!) Properly complicated, though, we should allow that the inquirer may well have prepared himself by inventorying large quantities of TAB in readiness for receipt of the right book. Naturally, he'd be buying them by the case, and owing to their stackability, he might have stacked them. Doubtless, he'd be tired after stacking all those cases of soda, so much so, that he knew, even while composing his message he'd be too tired to climb up to a high shelf to retrieve the first batch. So he must of allowed that tired as he'd be, he'd probably go for the 'lower case'. In this case (not the case of soda), the lower case 't' may have been deliberately iconic. An index, then, both of the TAB on the lower shelves, AND that he was also 't', tired. And that would have us having gone full circle, back to your original hypothesis. So I reckon you were probably wrong to agree with my correction of your incorrect concession. I think the TAB hypothesis has more explanatory power than the tab hypthesis.
