Can anyone help me out? I’ve got an American Made 1980 Candy Apple Red Fender Precision Special 4 string bass guitar. P pickup passive or active ; stock gold hardware all Fender ; Maple body ; Original Fender hardshell case ; Straight neck ; little fretwear; very very very light scratching in approximately 4 places on front of body; none seen on back; Almost mint condition; white pickguard has some yellowing above the pickup near the thumb-rest due to usage possible perspiration ; Serial # EO 11515 ; 3 knobs - (1) volume, (2) tones one each for split P pickup ; (1) passive / active toggle switch; front loading 1/4 inch guitar cable pot. How much is this puppy worth??? Any guesses would be appreciated?

$700-1000 based on your description of condition. The used instrument market is down right now, so 500 USD would be a good price. Check bassgear.com, basspalace.com, and eBay and see if there are any similar axes and what they're listed for.
