Question:
I simply can't find t-shirts about jazz guitarists or even anything 'interestingly' related to jazz, if you know what I mean. All that I own is pretty much down to stuff I buy at concerts ... obviously no probs whatsoever if I'm after a Guns'n'Roses t-shirt (which I am not, let's be clear about it LOL)... I'm shown a least a dozen different piled up by the counter but when the subject is like ...er... 'scuse me miss don't you have one with Kenny Burrell on it? I get that look like ' Kenny who?' or worse... like I've lost it and security's on its way ... so... I decided to print my own jazz t-shirts! And the million dollar question is... Where can I find good quality, royalty-free pics of jazz players, lead sheets, scribbles etc graphic stuff themed on jazz that would look really waaaay cool on a t-shirt? Personal use only. Not my intention to start a t-shirt printing business ... well for now that is Wouldnt it be fun to start exchanging pics... and wearing them
Answer:
Had a look at the www.cafepress.com site and I thought that I might have a quick look through for any Jazz Guitar t-shirts. I found a couple that weren't quite my style so I thought that I'd make a couple and put them on the site myself. I have made a Wes, Django, Joe Pass and a Grant Green t-shirt. I ordered a couple and they look great! The small thumbnails definitely don't do justice to the images on the shirts. Hope you'll all take a look.
