Question:
How high should a piano's keyboard be? I am thinking of getting a Casio Privia piano would rather play it on top of a desk rather than on a keyboard stand because space is limited in our apartment. This might also let me connect the piano to the computer. I think the desk in question is 30 high. Although I play the guitar on a regular basis, I have not touched a piano since I had a couple of months of lessons during high school.

Answer:
The going wisdom is... a) keyboard should be at the same height as your elbows while playing, or b) whatever's comfortable.
