have bougt a Roland virtual synthesizer because my Hoontech has no sounds onboard. I can't get the metronome working in Cubase VST. When I set the mide to an external Roland soundcanvas (sc-55mkII) it works. Does anyone use a virtual synth with cubase that can help me
Answer:
I use the audio click for metronome. It's right above the MIDI click options.. Word of caution you may want to turn it down though cause it's kinda loud somewhere around 30-40. AFAIK you can't route the midi for the click to an internal synth module. Has to be external.
