which is the most accurate setting for the Korg CA-20 tuner ?

Tagged As: Korg Tuner

Question:
I noticed that the Korg CA-20 tuner has calibration settings ranging from 430-449 Hz. Changing this setting seems to change the tuning. What is the purpose of this and which is the most accurate setting?

Answer:
I have one of those tuners also.. I don't know what they are for but 440 is the tuning that is standard pitch for piano. 440 is most appropriate; all are accurate Others are useful if you get a call to accompany a European orchestra. I believe many pitch their A higher than 440
