CAn anyone Compare Korg X5DR and Roland JV1010?

Tagged As: Korg X5dr

Question:
Following many advices, I bought a used Korg X5DR voice module. To be honest, I don't quite like the piano sounds of it. I've only had it for a day, and have got no experience at all with midi stuff. The thing is, that I bought this one for $510 CAD, and for $689 I could have got the brand new JV1010. Can anyone comment -- how do the sounds compare? Is it worth paying extra 180 for the Roland?

Answer:
Soundwise the JV-1010 falls in the 'pro' category while the Korg is more 'not pro'. However, the Korg is way more flexible when it comes to programming and its 100 combination memories, to store whole set-ups in.
