Question:
I'm a guitar player and I'm trying to get a moog-like sound out of my guitar. So, REALLY dumb question: is it possible to run a guitar through a moog? Would it sound like hell? Anyone ever tried it? I really don't know anything about synths, so if it is blatently not possible feel free to let me know. Anyone have any suggestions on getting moog-like guitar sounds?

Well, John Mclaughlin used to run his guitar through at least three minimoogs. Stereolab runs their entire sound board through a Moog Rogue. Others have done it and more will do it in the future That's why Big Briar (The real moog) developed the Moogerfooger Foot Pedal for guitar or any other signal you would want to put through it.
