Question:
Hello, I have been searching all over to find 3 pieces of music: Amelie - full score from Yann Tiersen Legend of 1900 - full score from Ennio Morricone Romanze in F op.40 - l.v. Beethoven I am willing to pay for the first two, and the last should be in the public domain but I cannot find it- either in a book or in a store. Any suggestions?
Answer:
I think the Romance in F is actually op.50, from Two Romances... originally for violin. But Im trying to find all of these for piano... The closest you will get is the volume 6 pièces pour Piano - Volume 2 - Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain. None of his sheet-music appears to be licensed for sale outside of France. So, go to www.di-arezzo.com I don't believe this has been published anywhere. There are a few Morricone collections for piano, but they all precede this film. This is a violin & orchestra piece: I assume you are searching for a piano transcription? This will only be in the public domain if the edition is sufficiently old that the publisher, editor and engraver are all reunited with Beethoven. You might find someone's MIDI version on the net.
