i'm looking for a drum machine that can make really phat hiphop type bass and snare sounds. Specifically, i want to get the sound that erick sermon or jay-dee gets from their production. the drum machine would have to be midi compatible so that i can hook it up to my mpc-60.

Well, sample those sounds in your mpc. Or better yet, see where they got their sounds from and sample the original. Hip Hop (so called music) is nothing but pure shit. Let me list what sucks about it. 1. No originality. One copies the other. 2. the sound never changes. The same bullshit over and over. 3. most rap idiots rap out of key 4. the lyrics say very little about black(american)culture. In fact it speaks volumes for the low life culture it is. 5. The lyrics glorify the scum of your culture. Death to HIP hop, Cause it SUCKS And i bet when no one is in ear shot hip hop is the last thing U would listen to.
