Answer:
If you have a PC (to visit Ebay for this auction, presumably) then you already have a much better sample playback capability than the ridiculous DDD-1 will ever have. (Assuming that you have a sound card in your PC, that is) There are a lot of great shareware/freeware sample playback apps out there. In fact, buying an extra last-years-model PC for a couple hundred bux might be one of the best ways to add versatile sonic potential to your MIDI studio these days. The DDD-1 sucked when it was new, and now it is utterly worthless. If you enjoy frittering away large amounts of time attempting to make music with a pathetically underpowered 8-bit, 1-voice sampler with trigger-only one-shot playback control, then go buy yourself one of those Yak Bak toys for $7 at WalMart. They're more fun, very cheap, and they fit in your pocket. Well, I wouldn't go that far. The DDD-1 is somewhat useful in that it has 8 assignable outs (good for triggering Simmons or other old analog drum modules), trigger out, and click out. I like the hi-hats, and that's about it in regard to the sounds. Good for hip-hop.
