i'm looking for some sort of drum program which will assign a different sound to each key on my keyboard just like my keyboard was a virtual drum-kit. so i can play along with music. Surely something like this must exist but i don't know where. Can someone point me in the right direction of a link please

It's not what you are asking for, but I have had a virtual rhythm maching for some time. I got it at http://www.threechords.com/hammerhead/ I don't know if it's still available or not.
