All the trouble that Paul goes to, to use Ludwig drums and on the Chaos cd they sound like a toy drum kit. Is this drum set similar to the one Ringo used to have on beatles releases? Because if so then something is horribly wrong...

I just read in the Post, Paul recovered from his fall down the hole in Montauk (near the place he and Linda spent her last summer) with a massage and a long soak in a hot tub. Doesn't sound like he's stressing over any of this... he's confident! My girlfriend, a huge McFartney fan, has been playing the CD in her car... she says It sounds like shit. i like the drums on this record. they sound small, dirty, homespun, charming, and lo-fi, which is a welcome relief from most music today where the kick and snare are compressed and pro-tooled into a sonic drill intent on boring a hole in the back of your skull. if i ever see nigel godrich i'm going to give him a hi-five for insisting that paul one-man-band this album.
