Question:
Anyone out there in guitarland ever built a guitar from either WD or Warmoth replacement parts?? I'm looking to build a Telecaster style guitar, but I'm worried about the quality of the end product. I would also like to know what people think of the compound radius necks that Warmoth supply, how does it affect the set-up, playability of the guitar etc.

I have a Thinline Tele built from a Warmoth body and neck. I bought it in practically-new condition (almost no fret wear, etc.). It's a fine guitar. Sounds great unplugged, the intonation is great, and the neck sits well in the pocket. I bought it for $400, so I can't comment on the price/value ratio of putting together a guitar from parts, but the neck and body I have are great.
