Question:
I'm a beginner and I'm wondering what really sounds the epiphone violin bass (the copy of the historical hofner 500) ? Does this instrument have only the look, or/and the sound ?

Answer:
It doesn't really get the Hofner sound, but it is quite a nice usable bass with some nice sounds - I have a bit of a thing for semi-acoustic basses and if I see an Epiphone at the right price, I'll certainly grab it
