Are Fender acoustics bad guitars? I'm a beginner and can get a good deal on an Fender DG-8 entry level acoustic guitar. Would it be a decent starter guitar to begin practicing with, or is it just a waste of time using that type of guitar?

Yes. Seagull. For the money, you are buying a *real* guitar you may never want to part with or upgrade from - excellent guitars in the $300 - $400 range, for the most part. Finding a dealer near you may be a little harder, but they're also available online form Elderly and others.
