Any one know where I can get Fender Stratocaster decals?

Tagged As: Fender Stratocaster Decals

Question:
Any one know where I can get Fender Stratocaster decals, I'd like to find the '70s type used on the big headstock

Answer:
Why? If you don't have a fender, then why put a sticker on it? If you simply want people to think your guitar is a fender, the fact that it's a decal won't fool anyone for more than a few seconds. Real fenders have the logo silkscreened on. You may be able to find some sort of applique that will give the same effect. Though if you sell it like that, fender has been known to sick their lawyers on even single sales

there are some very detailed replica strat decals called "waterslide decals" Fender is aware of them and in some cases will help you if your headstock decals is wearing off or has worn drastically. look on any search engine for " fender waterslide decals" iv'e seen some of the 70's witht he big STRATOCASTER goin across the Headstock. Price wise your look at around $20 and up for a good quality.

No, they weren't sikscreened on. Vintage strats from the 50's , 60's and 70's used waterslide decals. There is valid reasons to want to purchase decals and not to make a non Fender a Fender. Many times vintage Fenders need to have their decals replaced for various reasons. They are available from many different sources..but don't pay more than $10 or $15 for one.
