Was there a period of Fender manufacture that did not have the logo on the headstock? I have in my sights a design Fender Hot Rod '57 Stratocaster but it hasnt the logo on the headstock. so i am a bit sceptical on its authenticity.
Answer:
the only time fender didn't have a full logo was on the infamous no caster (tele design) but Fender was still on the headstock it was just the 'Broadcaster' (the model) part of the decal was removed.
