Being new to the guitar I have downloaded many guitar pieces in midi format to practice but I really need to be able to see the music as well as hear it. Does anyone know of any software that will convert downloaded MIDI music into sheet music ?

Answer:
The free FINALE NOTEPAD by http://www.codamusic.com/ will do it (or any other notation software) , but you will have to edit most of the resulting files. Many of my guitar solo pieces (200pages) and midis can be downloaded for free here: www.hochweber.ch/guitar.htm
