am curious as to why Gibson doesnt build an archtop anymore. With all of thier 'prewar reissues, you would think that they would have at least an RB-3 archtop in the lineup. Should Gibson reissue an archtop ?

agree, but I don't know if it would pay for Gibson. I've also wished they would come out with the Ballbearing Mastertone series again, but that's clearly too expensive from a materials and labor standpoint.
