It's just that it seems like Gibson has given up on basses for the past few years. They have the thunderbird, but lately it has seemed that they didn't pay much attention to basses. There was even a thread over on the dudepit mentioning this same thing, and predicting nothing new from Gibson this year as far as basses go. Since you listed so many new basses from Gibson, I didn't think it could be real. I'm happy Gibson seems to be thinking about basses again.
