Question:
I'm just starting out learning guitar. Are there any good sites online where there are lessons? I'm a newbie using a folk guitar but any style of music is of interest. I plan to find a teacher but in the meantime I'd like to see what there is on the internet. I was at a site with some really neat multimedia lessons and I'd like more of the same. So, any pointers to some good sites out there? Both free and commercial.

Every Friday is a new live lesson, and archives are stored from up to a couple years ago. You can ask questions and have the teacher answer them live on the show or send him an email, and eventually he will get back to you, although he has been getting busy lately. There is also a messageboard to post questions to. Oh, this is a free service by the way.
