I went to the Dave Matthews website to figure out what kind of acoustics he plays and it listed that he plays Taylor CE's. But in alot of pictures and posters I see him playing a black Gibson guitar that has a gold signature near the fret board. Does anyone here know what model Gibson it is?

Answer:
Gibson Chet Atkins SST, custom fishman pickups, used from, 94 or 95 until 99. In 99 he used the Martin DM3MD (or is it DM3DM?), and now he's using taylors almost exclusively. I think I remember reading in a concert review that he used teh chet at soldier field last year...
