Does anyone have opinions on the Les Paul copies Ibanez made in the 70's? I'm want a Les Paul, but don't have the cash for a Gibson
Answer:
thought that the majority of the Ibanez Les Paul copies had bolt-on necks, not set necks like the real Gibson Les Pauls?? If that's the case, then you are not getting a good clone. There are numerous other Les Paul copies out there that more closely duplicate the Gibson Les Paul design and specs. Check out the Epiphones, Hamers, Washburns, Deans, Arias, Samicks, Jay Tursers, etc etc before you settle on the Ibanez.
