Just wondering how many of you use Ebay? With what seems likes been happening to me lately, I was wondering if any of you have experienced this. Last night I finally won a bid on a set of tuners for the Tele copy I'm building. That was the 4th bidding war I got into over a set of tuners for this thing. It seems that people are willing to pay more than list for guitar parts. Including shipping I was able to purchase these for a little under list. I'm either amazed at what people will pay or think the people selling stuff are bidding against me. The last 3 times the tuners supposedly sold for two times the list and if you add in the shipping it makes no sense. I understand some people don't live close to a store and even take into account the cost of gas to get there. Is it just me that this is happening too with guitars and parts? I have a neighbor that swears I'm right as he is experiencing the same shit, but with other merchandise. Anyone?

Ahh, eBay fever. It catches every one of us once in a while and we pay too much. You have to decide what something is worth to you, compare it to what you can buy locally (including tax and gas), and restrict yourself to a maximum...NO bid wars allowed!
