Question:
Does anyone have an opinion about Yamaha's bass guitars, the higher end of the range, that is? It's just that they're in my price range and I don't want to buy a Fender unless it's a USA standard- can't afford one.
Answer:
I have a 1996 Yamaha TRB-4 which I am absolutely in love with. However, this bass was around $800 when I got it.....Fenders are much less than that. I personally whouldn't go with anything else, (as far as Yamaha's go) but I do hear that the RBX line is good (especially the model designed my John Myung). I have no experience with anything other that the TRB line of Yamaha basses.
