Question:
I'm trying to use a 16-track recorder with a 16-track mixer, and not surprisingly I'm all out of inputs, so I need some advice. I can envision two solutions, and I'm not sure which one I'd prefer. It probably depends on what products are available.

How about one of the little digital mixers such as the Yamaha O1V. I think it has something like 32 channels?? Don't quote me on that, I use the big brother the O2R, and am not totally familiar with the O1V, but have considered adding on a something like the O1V just for all my synths and modules. It's worth exploring anyway, and the totall recall memory comes in very handy.
