I am trying to incorporate an 8 track Tascam mixer into my Cakewalk/Delta 1010 setup. The Tascam mixer comes from the tape machine era thus it has 8 tape in/out RCA jacks. The manual does not cover using a hardware mixer with the tape ins and outs. I would appreciate some tips on how to set things up and possibly some links to some tutorials on how to use the 1010 with various setups.

You could set up the Delta 1010 as if it were an 8 track recorder. Without knowing what model mixer you have (and chances are even if I did) I couldn't give you a specific hookup, but the general idea is this:
