I was considering buying a 12'' MTX blue thunder sub, a pair of MB Quart 5 1/4's and an MTX 140 amp for my truck.... Anyone have any comments on MTX or MB Quart products?

First off, this post belongs in rec.audio.car. That said, those products are highly regarded. However, you only do yourself a disservice by not listening to other excellent products, such as Kicker Competition (NOT Solobaric or XPL), Rockford Fosgate, JL Audio, Image Dynamics, USD, ProTech, a/d/s, and Dynaudio in subs, and Boston Acoustics, KEF, Dynaudio, Focal, Eton/Diamond Audio, Morel/Macrom, and a/d/s/ in front stage. I personally think that B&W and Celestion are the only companies that make good titanium tweeters -- I can't stand the Quarts. However, if you like them, then go for 'em.
