I purchased a new HP desktop. It's Intel 915 chipset. I fresh-installed Windows XP Professional. Before the installation, it came with every driver properly installed. But after the installation, Realtek AC97 Audio on board is not recognized. It's shown PCI Device.

As far as Windows is concerned, disabling a device in BIOS is equivalent to physically removing the device from the machine.
