I am a bit confused about the sound implementation on the A7N8X series of mainboards.
Answer:
-I was confused about this one too. For example in the Deluxe model, the board uses the Nvidia hardware to process the sound, but the Realtek DAC (to ouput analog signal to speakers, etc.). However, if you use the digital out, the Realtek doesn't get used at all. It's the same case with any of the other models that use both, however, I'm not sure which ones use both. The cheaper ones use only the Realtek for everything (which is not as good).
