I have a P.A., complete, except for stands for the speaker cabinets. My cabinets are Celestions 12 speakers with holes in the bottom of the cabinets for the stands.

My band uses Ultimate Support Stands with very good results. (Never had a drunk knock one over.) We get the ones with the Ulti(?)-Lock. Makes set up MUCH easier. Very light. Usually come with carrying bags. If stability is a big concern, get the taller version if if you don't need the height; they have a wider base. Also, if you play gigs when the floor is not level or you need to staddle steps of a stage, Utimate makes a extendable leg to accomadate this. Stands with that feature are hard to find.
