Question:
I would like to create a pair of PA speakers for using with my band. Anyways, I've built stereo speakers before but never PA. What are the differences that I need to be aware of. I'm already awake that with PA speakers, the drivers need to be way more efficient, but there must be more details that someone could fill me in on. Also, what's the difference between PA and Sound Reinforcement. And does anyone have resources, be it links or books or whatever on PA speaker building?

Answer:
This is one large subject, I think the best advise is to go buy a used pair somewhere. They have probably undergone a good engineering effort and are probably only slightly more expensive than if you built them yourself.
