I have exams looming and have decided to try a new angle at revision. I got a Mp3 player (512mb) for xmas, and had the idea of recording all my notes onto here, then transferring it to an mp3, then learn via listening.

I think TotalRecorder ($12 from www.highcriteria.com) is a great little program for quick-n-simple recording like note taking. It will record directly to MP3. They make other related products like court- room reporting, dictation transcription, telephone recording, etc. etc.
