I guess I'm looking for the compelling reason to buy one product over the other. My needs are 100% hobby-based, just tinkering around for fun. I've read myriad posts on the rec.audio group and Cubase seems to be the favourite product but quite frankly much of the reason why seems to fly over my novice brain regarding this stuff. Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio or Cubase SE???
