I thought it was the plug ins, but i just can't do anything in cakewalk, if i hit play or record it crashes and have to reopen, it's a song 8 minutes long, so it's not big deal. Th e computer is PIII 550, 128ram, 10G maxtor . I took the data from a CDRW HP. I have checked everything. Help!!

Verify that you are running the most recent driver versions available for all your hardware. Remove and re-install the drivers for the sound hardware using the latest version.
Can't use cakewalk anymore!!
